The British Horn Society and the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland are holding a “Scottish Horn Day” on Sunday 28th of January, 2024.

Join us for a 2024 Scottish Horn Day of recitals, workshops and masterclasses with historical horn exponent and internationally renowned soloist Anneke Scott, the Rookh Horn Quartet and the horn sections of Scotland’s professional orchestras.  Plus directed ensembles with leading RCS and Scottish players and tutors, improv and pedagogy workshops, trade stands and much, much more…

For ALL ages and levels of horn players, on any instrument (modern, Vienna and period instruments welcome!)

Teaching/Masterclasses begin at 2.15pm
The performance will take place from 5.45pm

Hosted by the RCS in association with the British Horn Society

This events has two ticket options:

  • A day of teaching and masterclasses plus a ticket to the performance. Teaching/masterclasses are from 1415-1715 in RCS venues and large ensemble rooms. This is run by RCS brass staff in partnership with the British Horn Society. £15
  • A performance only option, 1745-1945 with visiting artists. £5
