farkas2Douglas Hill, one of the horn world's most renowned pedagogues, taught at the University of Wisconsin-Madison from 1974 to 2011. Hill has served the horn community as a featured artist, lecturer, soloist, chamber musician, clinician, and artist-teacher all over the world, and is famous for his adaptive, student-centered approach to teaching. Professor Hill's books are classics of horn pedagogy, and his playing, compositions, and teaching are aimed at extending students' and colleagues' imaginations.

Hill on Horn, featuring Professor Douglas Hill, is an educational video originally released in 1986 and was produced by the University of Wisconsin-Madison Division of University Outreach and Department of Continuing Education in the Arts. The IHS is pleased to offer this video to IHS members.
