horn major grad from Manhattan School of Music under Gunther Schuller. Further study in Warsaw, Poland with Edwin Golnik of Warsaw Filharmonia. A very successful private teaching practice where several of my students have been accepted to Juilliard or to MSM and are now professional horn players.

Private horn studio since 1985. Also on staff at Music Conservatory of Westchester, White Plains, NY from circa 2005-2008. Joined staff at Briarcliff School of Music, NY 2008-2009, then left when school closed. All teaching now is at my private in home music studio.

Former 1st horn of American Ballet Theater at Lincoln Center,New Jersey Symphony. Played at Carnegie Hall in American Symphony Orchestra under Leopold Stokowski. Freelance sub of Broadway shows, Inc. Fiddler on the Roof, Radio City Music Hall. Toured with Bolshoi Ballet, Royal Ballet, L. Kirov Ballet, Martha Graham, etc.

All levels taught from absolute beginner thru coaching professional players, helping them prepare for auditions.

My main focus is on sound and musical phrasing.
