Bachelor of Music Degree, St, Olaf College (1999), Master of Music Degree, University of Nebraska (2001). Teachers have included Michael Gast (principal horn of the Minnesota Orchestra), Priscilla McAfee, and Allen French. Additional study at the Rafael Mendez Brass Institute (2008 and 2009).

Graduate Teaching Assistant, University of Nebraska, 1999-2001. Private Instructor of Horn, Rochester, MN, 2001-Present. Adjunct Professor of Music (applied horn), Winona State University, 2010-Present.

Currently Second Horn of the Rochester (MN) Symphony Orchestra (since 2005), member of the Med City Brass Quintet, director and solo horn of the Coristi horn ensemble, freelance musician in Southeast Minnesota. Formerly substitute/extra with the LaCrosse Symphony, Principal Horn of the Rochester Civic Concert Band.
