The University of Akron hosts Shanyse Strickland at its annual Horn Day on Sunday, November 23, 2025, from 1-4:30 p.m. Horn players of all ages and abilities can register for free at uakron.edu/music/horn#community to play side-by-side with the UA Horns, Shanyse Strickland & the 40+ piece horn ensemble, or participate in the masterclass. All events are FREE, and take place at the University of Akron, Guzzetta Hall.
