Bachelors and Masters degrees from Northwestern University. Studies with: Gail Williams, professor of horn at NU and former member of Chicago Symphony; Jon Boen, principal horn Lyric Opera of Chicago and Grant Park Symphony; William Barnewitz, former principal horn Milwaukee Symphony.

Substitute teacher at the Merit School of Music (lessons and chamber music). As member of Axiom Brass, teach at the Music Institute of Chicago, at the Boston University Tanglewood Institute (lessons, chamber music, sectionals), and winner of the Fischoff Educators Award. Through the Civic Orchestra, member of Musicorps, presenting programs in various communities while studying with professional teaching artists.

Member of Axiom Brass (www.axiombrass.com) and Ensemble Dal Niente (www.dalniente.com). Member of the Civic Orchestra of Chicago, 2008-2010. Substitute musician with the Milwaukee, Elgin, and South Bend Symphony Orchestras, and guest principal horn of The Florida Orchestra. Performances with Fulcrum Point New Music, Rush Hour Concerts, Present Music (Milwaukee).
