News from Your Horn Society
The International Horn Society has some exciting new features coming in the near future! We are hoping to begin a new e-newsletter, which will provide additional educational content and announce upcoming events and activities. It will be free to anyone who signs up, IHS member or not. Each issue will include valuable articles and links to content for all, as well as special links to members-only content. Click here to opt-in for the newsletter. You will not receive the newsletter unless you sign-up.
Hornexcerpts.org Joins IHS Online
from Daren Robbins, creator of hornexcerpts.org:
I am thrilled to announce that, starting today, hornexcerpts.org has a new home on the website of the International Horn Society. In the eleven years since its launch hornexcerpts.org has been an important resource in the study of orchestral horn excerpts and one of the most popular horn-related websites on the internet. Although hornexcerpts.org now resides on the IHS website it can be accessed with the same address. Simply type “hornexcerpts.org” into your web browser and you will be taken to the new and improved site. The IHS is the perfect home for this website. It has the mission and the resources, and its staff has the technological know-how to keep hornexcerpts.org a relevant and beneficial learning tool for for many generations of horn students to come.
