The International Horn Society has some exciting new features coming in the near future! We are hoping to begin a new e-newsletter, which will provide additional educational content and announce upcoming events and activities. It will be free to anyone who signs up, IHS member or not. Each issue will include valuable articles and links to content for all, as well as special links to members-only content. Click here to opt-in for the newsletter. You will not receive the newsletter unless you sign-up.

It’s Holiday Horn Ensemble get-together time, and we would like to remind you that the IHS offers club memberships at the $30 annual rate. Any group of eight or more people (friends, students, clubs) who mail in their membership papers to the Executive Secretary together can qualify for this rate. You don’t have to be officially organized.

For the holidays, we are offering $5 off on NEW memberships! These can be given as gifts (even to yourself). This offer is only good for NEW memberships, not for renewals. Just mouse over the “Membership” drop-down; Choose “Join” (for yourself) or “Gift Memberships” for a gift to another horn player. From there, just follow the directions, until you get to the Payment page. Once there, enter the Coupon Code: IHSGIFT2014.

Horn Society Logo items make great gifts and are available through our on-line store. Proceeds from sales of these items go directly to the Horn Society.

Also, when you shop at AmazonSmile, Amazon donates 0.5% of the purchase price to International Horn Society. Bookmark the link and support us every time you shop. Ask your friends and family to bookmark this link so all their eligible shopping will benefit us as well.

Mark your calendars for the LA Symposium August 2 through 8, 2015! The early-bird discount deadline is February 28, so don’t hesitate. It will include concerts with the Los Angeles Philharmonic and an outstanding list of Featured Artists. Also competitions and participant ensembles are being scheduled - including a mass blow in downtown LA! IHS LA is hosted by Andrew Bain and Annie Bosler, at The Colburn School.
