Other Details: 2009 Hans Hoyer 6802/James Patterson Phase 2 custom double horn. Patterson Hornworks of Las Cruces, New Mexico customized the stock Hoyer 6802 with the following in the Patterson Phase 2 process: removed lacquer, added Patterson leadpipe, added water key, annealed slides for the main and upper F, changed the brace on the main tuning slide tube that goes to the change valve - their brace is more like the Conn brace instead of just a straight bar. They also adjusted and moved certain braces to more acoustically optimal places and rebuilt much of the tubing around the valve section and also several tuning slides. This is truly a custom horn and plays as such. It is in sterling condition.
No disappointments. Horn is currently at Patterson Hornworks, Las Cruces, NM 88012. (575) 373-0789
