I just got an email about buying a horn I have posted for sale on the IHS site. It was from Keith.W.Carlson asking if the instrument was still available. I replied that it was. His reply was that he'd send a bank check and arrange to have the instrument picked up at my home. There were no questions about the horn or why I was selling it or the like. That's when the bells went off. I'd read about this before. Not much time on google and I found the same scam with the same name - and several others, so check it out if you have any suspicion about who you're dealing with. Just thought I'd pass this info along to keep awareness up.
