Hello and welcome the the International Horn Society's Online Music Sales!

The IHS Online Music Sales (OMS) is a new venture for the IHS and one that we're very excited about. The OMS will replace the long-running Manuscript Press which published winning compositions of the IHS Composition Contest. The OMS, however, will be much more than this. We plan to expand the offerings to include a greater variety of horn music that will appeal to a wider variety of players—from young students to seasoned professionals.

We are doing away with the old business model of shipping printed music through the mail. Rather, we will be delivering our publications as downloadable PDF documents. This has several key advantages:

• Instant delivery. No more waiting by your mailbox for your new music to arrive. You can purchase, download, print, and start practicing immediately.
• Lower prices. We're eliminating the cost of printing the music and we're passing that savings on to you. There are also no more shipping and handling fees.
• Portability. Take your OMS music collection with you anywhere on your laptop or iPad. Study a score on an airplane or practice in a hotel room without having to pack bulky sheet music.

One goal of the OMS is to for the horn community to become involved in its growth. This means we want you not only to purchase the music we have for sale, but also contribute your own works to our collection. Perhaps you're a young composer looking for a publisher, or an established composer who is looking for new options. Maybe you're a teacher who has written warmup or etude materials for your students, or maybe you've assigned your students to compose their own music with surprisingly good results. Perhaps you've written some duets to play with your friends and colleagues. If you have any original compositions that you would like to share with the horn community you can submit them to us for publication. The best part is that we've setup a generous royalty policy so that you will make money on every copy of your music that is sold! See our FAQ page for more information on the submission process.

Please take some time to peruse our library. We've included sample scores of every composition and audio samples of many. We hope this will take some of the risk out of purchasing music new music that you're not familiar with.
