Description

ADSMANAGER_NAME_FIELD: Michael B.
City: Boston
ADSMANAGER_STCTY: MA
ADSMANAGER_COUNTRY: USA
Alloy: Yellow Brass
Bell: Detachable
Lacquer: No
Condition: Excellent
Other Details: One of the first of the modified Q11 triple horns that came to the US as part of a collaboration with Ion Balu and sold under the new designation "Ab Aeternum."

The design was modified with Ion's input and resulted, I think, in one of the best triple horns out there.

The basic airflow is similar to the very first Paxman descant horns, but with a low F side cleverly added on. Air flows in the same direction through the valves on all three sides of the horn. It's an extremely clever design.

Horn plays with very even, pleasant resistance throughout all three sides, and has one of the best high F sides on any triple I've ever played, retaining the horn's characteristic color.
Has been used professionally for 2 seasons. Selling to switch to a double/descant combo.

Comes with a Dürk hand-hammered bell flare and a system of interchangeable bits for the mouthpiece receiver so you can customize to fit the taper of your mouthpiece shank. Thumb levers are fully adjustable.
ADSMANAGER_EXTRAS: Alexander hand strap. Case not included.
