Bell: Detachable
Condition: Excellent
Other Details: I am selling my Alex 103 which has been my primary instrument for many years. The horn is performance ready with all valves and slides in working order. The instrument has the characteristic Alexander sound with a great low register that you don't usually find in an Alex 103. The horn is raw brass with silver plating on the inside of the bell. This prevents discoloration of the right hand when playing for longer periods of time. There are a few cosmetic dings on the bell and slight wearing of the plating on the inside, but it is purely cosmetic and in no way affects the sound of the instrument. More pictures can be taken if requested. If you are in the area, trials can be arranged. The horn does not include a mouthpiece but comes with an Alexander case. A used Marcus Bona detachable bell case can be purchased as well.
