City: Houston
Serial Number: 943926
Bore: .468"
Alloy: Rose Brass
Bell: Fixed
Lacquer: Some Minor Wear in the Bell
Case: Conn Black Hard Case
Condition: Excellent
Other Details: This is another Conn 8DR I have available for sell. This horn has much less use than the other I also listed. Back story comes that there was shipping mistake and Conn didn't believe my parents that two had arrived, so I have both. This one didn't get used regularly until I was in college pursuing my undergraduate. It has an Alexander adjustable flipper installed as well. It has has some minor wear on the hard guard and in the bell as expected, but the lacquer is still intact on the corpus. This one was bought sometime in 2003 as well. Mechanical linkage on the thumb rotor and string linkage on the other three. Taken care of by a music teacher and student. Recently ultrasonically cleaned (12/2019) and all slides and rotors move easily and freely. I have more pictures upon request as well. Buyer pays shipping.
