9 months ago I ran the mouthpiece survey. I did it in two parts - getting 60 replies from players in my contact list (so not perfect statistically, I fear) and then I ran a 2nd one, with amended questions for players to link to from the IHS website, and the horncups.com website used mainly by British players. This gave 160 replies to some of the key questions. I attach some charts showing these responses.

I am still thinking about the whole question of what makes a mouthpiece a perfect choice -- if there is such a thing. I will probably carry the research on at the IHS workshop in June.

All responses welcome!

Jonathan

Last year Jonathan Stoneman collected views and data about mouthpiece usage through an online survey. He has asked me to post these documents to show how far he's got. He is proposing to do more research at the IHS symposium in Macomb. More details later.
