http://newhornist.com/ I’m 58 years old. I’m studying the horn again after a 37 year lapse. I played in high school and college. Now I’m retired and have the time to take it up again, something I’ve wanted to do since I stopped playing. I gave it up for marriage (I met my husband who played the cello in music camp), four kids, and a career in marketing. When my kids were young I had an opportunity to play in a community orchestra and my husband’s reaction was, “Are you nuts?” (He was right.) So much for playing the horn.
