Steven is a professional horn player and has performer internationally as an orchestra, Broadway and chamber musician. Additionally, Steven is a scholar of the horn, having lectured at the national and international level.

Steven has maintained a studio of private students since 2008. His students have had success in getting full tuition scholarships to college, acceptances to major summer festivals and state and regional honor bands.

An in-demand freelance horn player, Steven is a frequent guest with the Omaha Symphony and Lincoln’s Symphony Orchestra, while performing with various national touring Broadway productions such as Wicked and The Lion King. Additionally, he holds positions in various orchestral and chamber ensembles in Nebraska. During the holiday season, Steven can be seen with Mannheim Steamroller as their solo hornist. He is featured with the group on their latest DVD/Blu-ray and CD, Mannheim Steamroller Live. From 2010-2012, Steven was Principal Horn with The New 25th Anniversary Production of Les Misérables. Prior to his appointment with Les Misérables, he was Principal Horn with The Manhattan Symphonie (NY). Steven was a National Finalist in the 2014 Music Teachers National Association’s Young Artists Brass Competition and was soloist with the Mannes Conductor’s Orchestra in April 2010 and the University of Nebraska Symphony in March 2013.
