Hornithology Summer Horn Ensemble - 2006 - present - Run a large horn ensemble for 20 plus middle and high school students.

Hornithology Ensemble - a consortium of classically trained horn players from Massachusetts and Rhode Island. With a four octave range, and over 100 years of combined playing experience, the Hornithology Ensemble plays an amazingly diverse repertoire of horn quartet and quintet music, from Bach to the jazzier arrangement of Lowell Shaw. Deeply committed to music education, Hornithology runs a summer horn summer ensemble for students in Massachusetts and Rhode Island. Hornithology Ensemble received many grants over the last two years from the Massachusetts Cultural Council for school and summer programs.
