I am a former faculty member of East Tennessee State University and Maryville College. I currently maintain a private studio.

I have extensive solo, chamber, and orchestral experience. I am currently the Principal Horn in the Knoxville Symphony Orchestra, Asheville Symphony Orchestra, and Symphony of the Mountains. I have previously held positions in the Omaha Symphony Orchestra and Wichita Symphony Orchestra, and Wichita Grand Opera. I also am the horn player in the Knoxville Symphony Wind Quintet.

I focus on creating an individualized lesson structure for each student, maximizing their capabilities while meeting their unique needs. Attention is given to horn fundamentals and general musicianship as well as specialized topics such as accuracy, performance anxiety, endurance, range development, and audition preparation.
