Qualifications
30 years professional experience as orchestral horn player, soloist, chamber musician, educator, conductor and coach. Bachelor in Performance from Northwestern University and Master of Music in Orchestral Conducting from UNC School of the Arts. Method Book available on website along with technique videos.
Teaching Experience
Currently Horn instructor/Lecturer at University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Also past horn instructor at Shaw University, St. Augustines College in Raleigh, NC and more. Multiple masterclasses and presentations nationwide. See website for materials and handouts.
Playing Experience
Won national auditions and held full time positions with North Carolina Symphony (15 years principal horn), Columbus Symphony (OH), Honolulu Symphony, Fresno Philharmonic, Civic Orchestra of Chicago. Also played a season in the New Mexico Symphony, guest with St. Louis, Chicago, Chautauqua, Charlotte Symphonies. Horn soloist with NC Symphony, UNC Orchestra, Salisbury Symphony, Longview Symphony, Enloe Symphonic Band and more.
