Qualifications
Bachelor of Music Education, Florida State University, 1995. Master of Horn Performance, Florida State University, 2000. Study with Dr. William Capps, Professor of Horn at Florida State University and student of Mason Jones, former principal horn of the Philadelphia Orchestra. Subsequent study with Edwin Thayer, Martin Hackleman, and Phil Munds.
Teaching Experience
Private lessons/horn instruction since 1991. Public school general music instructor and associate director of bands from 1995 through 1998. University teaching experience from 2008 through 2010.
Playing Experience
Numerous community bands and orchestras since 1995. Active duty soldier and musician with The United States Army Band "Pershing's Own" from 2001 through the present day, culminating in positions as acting associate principal horn of the U.S. Army Concert Band and hornist with the U.S. Army Wind Quintet.
Teaching Specialties
Practical instrumental music theory, comprehensive horn repertoire, brass pedagogy and performance practice.

Charges
Variable. Lessons are taught once per week over an 18 week semester, and range in tuition from $882 for 30 minute weekly sessions to $1692 for 60 minute weekly sessions. Please contact the conservatory for more information.
