The University of Akron – Graduate Horn Assistantship – Fall 25/26

Graduate Brass & Wind Quintet

Duties:

• Perform with the Graduate Brass Quintet and Graduate Wind Quintet
• Teach Applied Horn Lessons
• Additional duties based on individual skills

Compensation:

• Tuition remission + $10,000 stipend.

Qualifications:

• Completion of bachelor’s degree in music
• Audition/interview
• Letters of recommendation

Admissions/Audition Information:

• Interested applicants should apply to the University of Akron Graduate School no later than January 31st, 2025.
• All auditions (live or taped) must be completed by March 1st, 2025.
