This is an outstanding instrument! There is no serial number because the bell flare, tail, and brace were replaced with a Bernd Sandner bell flare and tail by Wes Hatch Custom Horns. The original Yamaha brace is where the serial number is usually located and did not come with the horn when I purchased it. This instrument is in fantastic shape, and I am embarrassed to admit I put a small ding in the bell flare (pictured)!!
The YHR-891 with a Sandner bell has been a popular upgrade for many decades and it does not disappoint. All three sides of the horn are magnificent! Especially the low F side! I can get the low F side to explode!
This is one of three horns I am listing. Whichever horn does not sell, I will keep. I am also listing a descant horn if there is interest.
