In the words of the arranger: "After first hearing the Adagio from Schubert's Arpeggione Sonata I knew I must arrange it for horn and piano. The breathtaking lyricism of Schubert's melodies and the Horn are a perfect match. While many of us wish Schubert had left us a Horn sonata maybe this arrangement can help fill the void."
