Other Details: OUT FOR TRIAL - Schmid Full Triple (F/Bb/f alto). Hand made in Germany circa 1994. This horn was originally purchased from a first-call player, studio musician on the West coast. Condition is excellent. Herr Schmid confirmed at a recent IHS Symposium that the valves were “in good shape.” Horn is all original, smooth slides, no dents, patches, thin spots, red rot. Fun to play. No bad notes. Weighs only a few ounces more than the average double horn (5.62 lbs) with perfect weight balance. I added the Ron Pinc flipper. Raw gold brass with warm, sonorous tone and a great f alto horn. Comes with 2 flares, medium and medium wide with garland and a never used Schmid (Bags) travel case. Payment via bank wire strongly preferred. Price includes packing and insured shipping. For additional details see engelbert-schmid-horns.com. On consignment with Ion Balu of balumusik.com 530 774 6871.
