Name: George Sabol
City: Kennett Square
State: PA
Country: USA
Serial Number: None
Alloy: Yellow Brass
Bell: Fixed
Lacquer: Yes
Case: Yes
Condition: Excellent
Other Details: Dating from about 1930, this horn is in amazing condition and plays very evenly on both sides of the horn. Valves are smooth and compression is excellent. Slides are smooth and tight. It has recently been professionally serviced. I suspect the leadpipe is not original. A morse taper mouthpiece fits properly. The bell bead was made with an iron wire (which, I am told by someone knowledgeable about this maker, is significant). There has been prior dent removal, and at least one small patch which was very nicely done. It may also have been (re)lacquered. It comes with a newer high-end hard sided case. Insured shipping at buyer expense.
