I'm looking to send this Conn 8D to a new home where it will get the playing and use it deserves. The condition rating of fair is due to the only flaw on the horn--the bell was wrinkled while being transported on a symphony tour in Europe. However, it was professionally repaired and doesn't affect the sound of the horn to my ear. I played it for years after this event happened without any issues.
Kindly consult the attached photos for visual details as well as the original receipt when I purchased the horn brand new from A&G Music in Oakland, California.
Please reach out for more details and/or pictures. Thanks for looking.
Extras: Tom Crown Brass Mute, Straight Mute (one broken spacer pad), 4 mouthpieces, detachable horn case/backpack with complete set of interior padding pillows (broken snap clasp at top of case, no affect on the protection of the horn), vinyl snake brush, mouthpiece snake, Selmer Key Oil, Selmer Tuning Slide & Cork Grease, Al Cass Valve Oil, Oil/Grease Zip Carrying Case.
