It's Alexander's very successful "traditional" double horn that's been in production for many decades. Now in their 236th year in Mainz, Germany, Alexander produces some of the world's finest French horns.

The model 101 is similar their traditional model 103, but with a larger bell. This one is a special "light" model in yellow brass with light bell ring and lightweight valve set. It's a very responsive instrument that may be a little more familiar to players accustomed to larger bell horns, but still with the famous Alexander sound and focus.

This one's a little over two years old and belonged to a player in a major US orchestra. It's been played, but well maintained, and has never been damaged. The original lacquer is 100%.

The photos show the horn as we received it (near mint condition!). We'll clean and service the horn. It will be shipped ready to play and with our two-year service warranty.

Special Horn Society price of $6250.
Extras: Alexander Jacob Winter backpack style case.
