Other Details: Pro Horn player/ Horn teacher has a BEAUTIFUL Holton Farkas double French Horn for sale. This is a model H279, Holton's MOST POPULAR student model, the H179, with the added special feature of a removable bell for ease of packing and traveling. It is made of nickel silver. Large bell bore for a big, full sound. It is in PERFECT WORKING AND PLAYING CONDITION! Valves are super-fast and quiet. Slides are all greased and move easily. There are NO DENTS. There is a tiny ding on the bell that is barely noticeable --otherwise this horn looks just about new. The shiny lacquer is in amazing shape. This Holton 279 plays like a charm! It has a lovely, rich, tone quality with a full sound and nice projection. Quick response. The upper and lower registers are extremely nice and open! The HIGH notes are clear and centered -- They really sing! High C? WOW! I would recommend this Holton for any advancing student, 8th grade thru college -- music major, minor, or hobbyist. **100% SATISFACTION

Holton DC mouthpiece
