Other Details: For sale is this custom, nickel silver, Kruspe-wrap Holton H-379. The horn originally came with a fixed bell, but after the lead pipe was damaged, it was repaired, unlacquered, and had the bell cut by Kendall Betts. Additionally, the horn comes with an unlacquered, gold brass, hand-hammered Dürk bell with an engraved nickel silver kranz. The bell was purchased and installed with an Alexander-style ring by Siegfried's Call. This horn has a new retail value of approximately $3700 and the bell was purchased for around $1000 alone. The horn has a very warm, dark tone with an excellent high register. The addition of the Dürk bell transforms this intermediate horn to a professional grade instrument. I've had fellow horn players tell me it plays like an old Kruspe!
Extras: Bags by Spain detachable bell case with backpack straps. Dennis Wick straight mute.
