Other Details: This Reynolds Contempora nickel silver horn has just been reduced for quick sale.. We have yet another one for sale. This one is a previously owned, Reynolds, Contempora, fixed bell, F/Bb full double horn. The horn is made of lacquered nickel silver, though, from years of use, the lacquer is about 50% in tact. This horn was made in the late 1960's. The horn is free of major dents. Only small dimples remain here and there. The notes of this horn slot tightly though there is some wear on the valves. The intonation is good and the large, warm sound has much carrying power to the back of a concert hall with minimal required input. The horn comes in a molded vinyl, fixed bell, hard case. The case is fair, but serviceable shape.
The price is $1,000.00, a superb value for a full double horn in today's market.
