Name: Bruce Tubbs
City: Ottawa Lake,
State: MI
Country: USA
Serial Number: 37 185511
Bore: medium
Alloy: Yellow Brass
Bell: Detachable
Lacquer: 85% some discolor solder work
Case: flat detach case or fixed bell
Condition: Good
Other Details: A King Fidelio 2269. Designed by McCracken. Valves serviced, ultrasonic cleaning, re corked, strung and bearings at proper adjustment. Lacquer at about 85%, scratched and darkened a couple of places where heat has been applied. Lacquer removed exposing NiSi from the pinky hook and top hand guard, which are normally lacquered with the dark gold King lacquer. Leadpipe is an unlacquered Eroica NiSi pipe that has been perm installed. The stop plates are the Later nylon/plastic parts. I prefer cork to the black rubber factory bumper.
A good example of the Fidelio/2269 in good shape and it plays well. A good horn for a serious student or re-ermergent adult. More pics, ?'s, Ask...
