Other Details: Need a high horn? Not blessed with a natural high horn embouchure, the high B and C were not assured on my Conn 8D. Playing the Paxman Academy, however, I can reach C#, D, D#, and even an occasional E! This horn is more responsive and easier to play than most competitive brands and it doesn't cost $10,000 plus. It is a full double Geyer design. The horn features an adjustable pinky hook and an adjustable change valve position. It also has a factory installed water key for quick release of condensation from the lead pipe. It is very free blowing with a great five octave range and sound projection. Valves are quick and solid with great compression. This horn has been used in performance of both the Firebird and the Mahler #1. I have owned it for less than 2 years. Ideal horn for students or adults rediscovering their musical roots! If this sounds like something you could use, call or text me at 915-433-9104.
