Other Details: This horn was a lucky find on my part, and unfortunately one that I'm going to be parting with all too soon as I liquidate most of my double horns to pay for a triple.

The horn came to me a bit neglected, but with a solid body and excellent valves. I invested some money to have it cleaned up and fix some broken braces and then had Andrew Lane install one of his Lanstro leadpipes. The result is a truly excellent horn that exceeds expectations.

The model 25 is a dual-bore horn, meaning that it has separate tubing diameters on the Bb and F sides. This helps even the resistance on the two horns and gives the horn a honking powerful low side. The leadpipe I found improved the slotting and intonation throughout the range and improved response in both high and low ranges.

I'm particularly fond of the legato on this horn, which slurs incredibly smoothly and easily. Easy to get that beautiful smear on the notes.

A few little dings in non-critical places. Otherwise in great condition.
Extras: Clebsch strap
