Other Details: Holton H180 Double French Horn with Lawson lead pipe #FB 114.25. This horn is from the early 1970’s, handpicked for us from the factory by Ethel Merker, and was refurbished by Walter Lawson himself in the mid to late 1970’s. I know that he worked on the valves and put in a Lawson lead pipe; he may have done other adjustments as well. Single owner, my dad played it for years, but is 90 years old now and just can’t do it anymore. I brought the horn to be cleaned and put into perfect condition to play again by the workshop of Rick Seraphinoff, IU Jacobs Music School Horn Professor and horn maker, just this month, July 2017. They also took out a couple of small dents and said it was a great horn, ready to play. The finish is worn in places, but that just makes it all the more interesting! You will be very pleased with this horn.

Case is worn and smells like brass.
