Country: Singapore

Other Details: Yamaha Custom Single Bb horn (80s) with stopped valve and Ascending C valve, which makes it a unique configuration. The ascending C valve provides a lot of useful fingerings such as 2nd line G and High D. With the creative use of the stopped valve, there are multiple fingering options. The craftsmanship on this horn is higher than the usual Yamaha. Slides are tight and compression is as new. I have too many professional level single horns lying around not being played. I have played this horn for multiple concerts and it doesn't have problems at all with projection, as associated with most single Bb horns. Having own a E. Schmid single Bb, Klaus Fehr single Bb and played on Ricco Kuehn single bb, this horn is right up there. And yes, I prefer this more than the Alex 90. However, with the reduction in performing activities, I have no reasons to keep so many horns. The current updated model YHR-851 is only available on special order from Japan, at $9800 USD, without tax and shipping. I can consider a trade.
Extras: Extra Leadpipe in A. Original hard case with special compartment for leadpipe is included Will include a used John Kowalchuk horn mute in maple.. Listed Price is inclusive of worldwide shipping and PayPal charges.
