Other Details: For sale is a lovely Alexander model 90 built in the 60's or 70's that was once owned by Barry Benjamin, who was a member of the Dorian Wind Quintet.

This model 90 has a very colorful sound with much character. Intonation is wonderful throughout (playing low solos like Shost. 5th symphony is very in tune with some alternate fingerings), and is a must have for chamber settings and opera. Also, with the stopping valve, playing stopped horn has never been easier!

Included is an extra bit just like Alan Civil had for his horn for the stopping valve that is removable, which allows for a perfectly tuned G at the bottom of the staff, using T3.

As noted, it has a Silver plated bell put on from the same time period the horn was made. The rest of the horn is original with mechanical linkage.

Buyer pays for shipping. Feel free to message me with any questions
Extras: Silver plated bell, made around same time as rest of horn, extra bit of tubing for thumb valve to play a G on the bottom of the staff perfectly in tune with T3
