Hi, I'm a composer who's written quite a bit of brass music, but I always feel a little intimidated when it comes to writing solo pieces, for I'm sure very obvious reasons. It's 6 minutes long and has a spacey heraldic quality with a bit of blues, and some driving menacing heaviness throughout. I'm a little worried it's going to be tiring or some skips may be impossible in context.
Here's the score to my piece:
Laudis Praeco - Score
And a rendering which is pretty convincing by the new Sibelius 7.

Any comments or suggestions about playability, etc. would be most welcome!
Thanks!
Jeff
