What type of carry-on horn case works best for protecting a detached bell Geyer wrap during air travel?

You'll probably get as many different answers to that as there are horn players. I can claim no knowledge of what is "the best" but I can say that I've used Marcus Bonna MB1 and MB7 without ever having a problem with them fitting in the overhead racks (except on the very smallest commuter planes) or from damage. Subjectively, the MB1 seems to me to offer more protection, but technically it's about 1 cm too tall to meet some airline regulations.
