The deadline is fast approaching for applications for the 4th annual US Army Band National Collegiate Solo Competition! This is a fantastic opportunity for any college student out there to perform with one of our Nation's premiere military ensembles.

Enter to win a chance to perform as the featured soloist with the U.S. Army Concert Band! The 22014 National Collegiate Solo Competition winner will perform on the West Steps of the U.S. Capitol and other Washington, DC-area venues the weekend of June 19-20, 2014.

General Rules and Requirements:
* Open to woodwind, brass, and percussion instrumentalists currently
enrolled in a college, university, or conservatory in the United
States.
*Please complete the fillable .pdf to include with ALL submitted materials.
* The U.S. Army Band (TUSAB) now accepts recorded entries through online file-sharing services. TUSAB will not provide this service; participants will use their own accounts and share links with the competition coordinator.
*Participants can shoos to submit a recording via email or by regular mail.
*Hard copies will be in CD format only; digital uploads should be MP3, WAVE, or AIFF format.
* Repertoire selected by applicant must exist as a published band arrangement.
*Must be age 27 years or under by January 1, 2014.
*All applications and links to digital entries must be RECEIVED by March 21, 2014.
