Is hornsaplenty.com a fraud?

I am sorry to say that the site hornsaplenty.com might be a fraud. I sent Alan Wiltshire my Holton horn 3 years ago with a promise of selling it quickly. The contact with him has been becoming worse and worse. Recently I've tried to e-mail him at his 3 e-maill addresses and tried to call at 2 different phone numbers. He hasn't been responding to any of my messages and both numbers are completely inactive now. I could still get a signal on his landline phone in July but nobody picked up a phone for a week and I tried to call couple times a day. The last message I've received from him is from 7th of July. He claims in it that my horn is on trail.

Honestly, I lost my patience so I'm giving a warning here not to trust that website. It has been in the Internet for years and the ads of it appeared in the Horn Call and at the IHS website as well so it really amaze me that I found myself in such situation.

Perhaps there's someone here that could help me getting in touch with Alan Wilthshire and get my horn back. Or if anyone really has it on trial or knows someone who has it, please give me an info as well. It's a H276 Holton horn with bronze detachable flare and nicklel silver "intestines". It has an original Clebsch Strap soldered to it. It can be seen here:

Thank you all for help,
Przemek

I've emailed him twice about that horn. I was interested in the asking price.

Przemek : have you had any contact yet? My horn also is with Alan, but I have had no contact from him despite emails. I, too, would like to get it back as, as far as I can see, it has not been sold.

Ah - another person with a problem with HaP. You may wish to check the Facebook conversation on this. It's on the British Horn Society page under my name - the latest post on the topic is 27th November. You may be required to join the group first.

I understand Przemek is starting, or considering starting, legal action.

Hi Chris - have you got a link for the facebook page discussion as I can't seem to find it. I too am having issues getting hold of Alan - who has my horn but no sign of it being returned/me being paid.

Thanks!
