Frau ohne Schatten DVD
May I point you to the release of "Frau ohne Schatten" (DVD regionfree) with Sawallisch conducting the Bavarian State Orchestra at
the 1992 inauguration of the Nagoya Opera House. I did not expect that we were that good, but it is reality. There is a lot of exciting horn playing. Guess, who might have played. Luana de Vol sings Empress, Mirjana Lipovsek sings the Amme, Peter Seiffert the Emperor, Alan Titus the Faerber & Jan Rootering the Geisterbote. It is a production of Ennosuke Ichikawa with wonderful costumes & superb guidance to the characters. It is a release by TDK.

Siegfried's Call Celebrates 1 Year
Scott and Andrea Bacon would like to announce the birthday of Siegfried’s Call. On October 13th 2006, we founded Siegfried’s Call with the interest of providing horn players top level instruments crafted from master craftsmen in Germany. Since starting the company, we now have moved into our new home in Beacon, NY, where we have transformed our 500 square foot garage into a studio/display/workshop. We would like to invite all who are passing through to come visit us, as we continue our venture into the 2nd year. With our current inventory of instruments, display and workshop space, and a solid vision for the future, we hope to serve many horn players for years to come.
