Lisa Austgen -- 1966-2007
The Challenger Learning Center of Northwest Indiana suffered a great loss this month when its Founder and Director, Lisa Austgen, lost a long and courageous battle with Leukemia.
Lisa was a true inspiration to those who had the good fortune to know her.
She will be profoundly missed, but never forgotten.
The staff of the Challenger Learning Center will proudly continue Lisa's mission to excite students and educators about space exploration and innovative learning methods.
