Morley-Pegge played Principal Horn with the Paris, Paris Radio, Cologne, and Reid (Edinburgh) symphony orchestras. More notable however, is his scholarly work in the field of Horn research.
His vast collection of brass instruments is now housed in the Bate Collection at the University of Oxford. His book, The French Horn (which is unfortunately out-of-print - check your local library) remains one of the finest and most scholarly texts written about the history of the instrument.
