Kurt Janetsky (1906-1994) |

As a young fourth hornist in Saxon State Orchestra in Dresden, Janetsky worked with such conductors as Richard Strauss, Hans Pfïtzner and Karl Böhm. After some moving around, he settled in Leipzig, where he played in the Leipzig Radio Symphony Orchestra (1946-1971).
Best known are the three major books authored or co-authored by Janetsky:
