Antonio Iervolino was a freelance musician in São Paulo (Brazil) at the young age of 15, and was principal horn of the Uruguay National Symphony at age 19. After a few years in the Teatro Colon of Buenos Aires, and work in Montevideo, he moved to Italy. There he performed with ensembles such as: Teatro Regio Torino, Pomeriggi Musicali Milano, and the Scarlatti Orchestra Napoli.
After a serious traffic accident, he returned to Buenos Aires to teach at the Teatro Colon Arts Institute. Later he moved to New York City, where he toured with the New York City Ballet and taught at the Mannes Institute - using an original method that he developed.
